Like any true blue New York Giants fan – I’m worn out and tired about listening to all the news media talking about the Plaxico Burress fiasco. Especially after the obviously distracted team played their worst game of the season in losing to the Philadelphia Eagles this past Sunday.

While we anxiously await their rebound this Sunday against the hated Cowboys – I can’t help but wonder what might have been for Plax had he just wanted an official Red Ryder carbine action two-hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and that thing that tells time like Ralphie in the 1983 classic “A Christmas Story”.

If only his father had told him…”You’ll shoot your thigh out kid…..”
